Weekly "minimums" released (Dec 7).
http://www.regie-energie.qc.ca/energie/PME/PMEO/v12n49-PMEO-07d%C3%A9cembre2009.pdf
Montreal listed at 98.4 (no increase/decrease; +28.9 cents for 2009)
Year to date:
High: 105.4˘ - June 22
Low: 69.5˘ - Jan 5
Um, there wasn't an increase or decrease for next week? When the hell has that last happened. Had the price per barrel stayed at the same price as last week? Weird, just weird. _________________

Wow. I started this thread in Nov. 2008 and still going, good for you to be doing this. I might not post much but I do read what you write.
I do have a suggestion with your weekly posting of gas prices. How about posting the price of oil per barrel as well? I bet you that it would make quite an interesting read for a graph since we all know gas prices DON'T follow the same trend as oil prices do.
Just a suggestion.
Cheers

I was actually thinking of doing that. But I wanted to find a site that had accurate closing prices. I can think of Bloomberg, but wanted to see if anyone else had a site idea. _________________

Weekly "minimums" released (Dec 28).
http://www.regie-energie.qc.ca/energie/PME/PMEO/v12n52-PMEO-28d%C3%A9cembre2009.pdf
Montreal listed at 97.4 (an increase of 3.0 cents; +27.9 cents for 2009)
Year to date:
High: 105.4˘ - June 22
Low: 69.5˘ - Jan 5
Well, gas ended up for the year 27.9 cents from the end of 2008. No surprise with the unfathomable increase of oil, and the true power of speculators.
Here's hoping for a lower 2010. Happy New Year to all. _________________

The speculators are keeping the bbl at an unrealistic level. Money in their pockets and less in ours.
Happy New Year |

We all know this is a crock. Based, I'm sure, on the increase on Monday and Tuesday. Doesn't take into effect the drop today and yesterday. _________________

Hmm, down the same amount as up last week. I think it was a gouge last week. I'd expect prices to go up next week with oil being up from last Friday's close. _________________

I honestly thought it would have been up more. Oil is up for no reason, so why hold back. _________________

I think we all saw this coming. yet, I think it is a gouge based on the past closings for oil. 5.3 cents in 2 weeks seems a little much. _________________

No question another gouge , just watch gas will be down in price by tomorrow by a 1-2 cents and keep going down at that rate until it is gouged ( ops sorry , PRICE CORRECTED ) again. |

I'd like to know how the hell can it go up when oil stayed relatively stable. Get ready for 111.0-113.0 at the pumps. Oh wait, most still are from last week. _________________
